Talcum Powder

What is Talcum Powder?

Information & What To Do

Talcum Powder is a product that has historically been used on the skin to prevent rashes and moisture. It can also be found in numerous cosmetic products such as baby powder, adult body powder, and facial powder.  It is a powder made from talc, which consists of the elements magnesium, silicon, and oxygen.

In its natural form, talc contains asbestos, which if found in the body can cause cancer to the affected and surrounding areas.
